Dorset as a whole is quite a beautiful county to enjoy a walk in, and with spring now in full swing, there's no better time to go out and take one in.

With the weather warming up and flowers coming into bloom walkers should be able to enjoy wonderful sights along these trails.

Whilst the concept of the walk alone might be enough for some people, the added benefit of there being a pub along the route is a nice sweetener to it.

Old Harry Circular

This circular route that passes by Old Harry rocks is considered to be an easy route that is 6.3km long and should take around one hour and 40 minutes to complete.

The route affords you "stunning views of the sea and geologic formations throughout".

Additionally, the walk starts in the car park of the Bankes Arms Inn where you could enjoy a pint after completing it.

Kimmeridge Circular

If you wanted a slightly more challenging route then the 14.5km Kimmeridge circular might be for you.

It will likely take you just over four hours to complete and offers some great views along the Purbeck Hills.

When you reach the village of Kingston around two-thirds of the way through the route you can stop off at The Scott Arms for a bite to eat or a drink before completing the rest.

Durdle Door trail

This 4.3km out-and-back should take you around an hour and a half to complete and goes past arguably Dorset's most iconic landmark in Durdle Door.

It is considered to be a moderately challenging walk despite the relatively short distance, but there can be a nice reward at the end.

The beginning of the walk takes place very close to the Lulworth Cove Inn, where you could enjoy a pint of bite to eat afterwards. 

Abbotsbury Hill and Coast walk

This 12.7km circular trail starts in the "picturesque Dorset village of Abbotsbury" and offers "beautiful" views.

For those looking to enjoy a pint once the walk is complete, The Swan Inn is located next to the car park where the trail begins.

This circular route around Preston and Osmington is considered moderately challenging with it taking around two and a half hours to complete the 9km walk.

On its AllTrails page, it says: "Take into your soul the beautiful scenery heightened by wonderful rolling hills and great views over Weymouth Bay."

Fairly quickly into the route, you'll come across The Spice Ship Inn which you could go to as a reward once the walk is complete.
