MOTORISTS have been warned of a large pothole in the middle of a road in Lymington.
The hole is located in the middle of B3054 close to the Crockford Clump car park.
Lymington and New Milton Police have asked motorists to ‘drive carefully’ and report any potholes online.
The force wrote in a social media post on Wednesday afternoon: “We wanted to make you aware of quite a large pothole in the middle of the road along the B3054 close to the Crockford Clump car park.
"We are very aware that there are a lot of potholes around, large and small and we do attempt to notify Highways when we see the ones that cause concern especially if they are likely to cause damage to vehicles or potentially cause accidents.
“With the heavy rain that we have had recently a large number of the potholes are disguising themselves as puddles.”
