A MAN is due to appear in court for causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Shortly before 10pm on Saturday, July 22, 2023, the serious crash happened in Parley Lane at Hurn, near Bournemouth Airport.
It involved a dark blue Ford Fiesta and a blue Dodge Caliber.
Emergency services attended, and the driver of the Dodge Caliber, a woman in her 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
A 22-year-old from West Moors attended a voluntary police interview in relation to the incident.
Following detailed enquiries by the Roads Policing Team, Elliot Honnywill, 22, of West Moors has now been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday, April 5, 2024.
It is for an offence of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
