A MAN has been arrested after a man in his 70s was allegedly assaulted in Poole.
The man reportedly stole a leather pouch containing a bank card from the man.
Dorset Police said at around 3pm on Sunday, March 17, 2024, a man aged in his 70s was assaulted and robbed in Lindsay Road.
It was alleged the bank card was subsequently used to carry out a number of transactions at various stores in the area.
Following enquiries by officers, a 34-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and fraud.
He has been released on police bail as further enquiries are carried out.
