A MAN has been arrested after using a knuckle duster to damage a vehicle. 

The driver of a grey Hyundai Tucson exited their vehicle and punched the rear off-side window of a beige Fiat 500 using a knuckle-duster, whilst in stationary traffic

The suspect and victim are reportedly known to each other. 

Officers arrested a 19-year-old Bournemouth man on suspicion of criminal damage, driving offences, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

The incident occurred at around 4pm in Christchurch Road, Boscombe on March 10. 

The man has since been released on bail.

Now, Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. 

Police Constable Lizzie Christie, of Bournemouth police, said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened, as well as any residents or business owners with doorbell or CCTV cameras who may have captured footage of the incident.

“I would also urge motorists with dashcams fitted to their vehicles who were driving along Christchurch Road at the time of the incident to please review their footage to see if they have recorded anything that may assist our investigation.”
