EMERGENCY repairs are being carried out to a road in Christchurch after it became swamped with flood water.
A section of the carriageway running under the bridge at Stony Lane in Burton is being re-surfaced today.
Heavy flooding last week lifted the tarmac surface and left behind an 8 x 1.3 metre hole, which BCP Council warned posed a danger to cyclists and cars.
The works are expected to continue through to midday tomorrow, according to One Network.
Temporary traffic lights are currently in place, and slow traffic is reported in the area.
