A MOTORBIKE was stolen from outside a property by two men before being recovered miles away from where it was taken.

It is reported a white BMW K1600 GT motorbike was stolen by the pair from outside a property in the Hillside Drive area of Christchurch.

It was taken between 8.40pm and 9pm on Friday, March 1, and it was later recovered following enquiries in Ringwood Road, St Leonards.

Officers investigating the theft of the motorbike are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.

One of the two offenders is described as wearing dark clothing with a head and face covering.

The other offender is described as being shorter and stouter than the first offender. He was also wearing a head and face covering, as well as a bright green ribbed jacket and shoulder bag.

Police Constable Nicholas Burridge, of Bournemouth police, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries into this incident and I would urge anyone with information about those responsible to please contact us.

“I would ask residents to please check their doorbell and home security cameras to see if they have captured anything of relevance.

“Also, I would ask any motorists who were driving in the area around the time of the incident to please check their dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything that might assist our investigation.”
