THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

GABRIEL ROHOZNEANU, 29 and of Carisbrooke Court in New Milton, admitted drink driving in Canford Bottom on February 3. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months. He was also fined £300, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £120, and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

THOMAS RIDLEY, 20 and of Vicarage Road in Poole, admitted failing to give information to Dorset Police on April 3, 2023, relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He got six points on his drivers’ licence. He was also fined £162, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £65, and ordered to pay costs of £150 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

DEAN TROTT, 33 and of Alders Gardens in Poole, admitted causing criminal damage after damaging a wine bottle worth £8 at McColls at The Dolphin in Poole on February 25, 2023. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay £8 in compensation.

GARETH BARROW, 35 and of Churchmoor Road in Colehill, admitted possession of Class A after being found with 2.75 grams of cocaine in Wimborne Road, Bournemouth, on August 14, 2023. He also admitted driving a vehicle while unfit through drugs, at the same location on the same day. He was disqualified from driving for 16 months. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £98, and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

LOUIS PACKMAN, 23 and of Lifeboat Quay in Poole, admitted drug driving in Poole on August 22, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for 40 months and handed a community order running until March 6, 2025, with a requirement to complete 100 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

BENJAMIN JONES, 40 and of Garfield Avenue in Bournemouth, admitted stealing a handbag to the value of £45 from River Island in The Dolphin in Poole on October 20, 2023. He was given a ten month conditional discharge.

SASHA FITZGIBBON, 30 and of Mountbatten Gardens in Bournemouth, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a woman at Ringwood Road Retail Park in Bournemouth on October 18. He also admitted stealing handbags to the value of £369.94 from TK Maxx at Ringwood Road Retail Park on the same day. She was handed a community order running until March 6, 2025. She was also ordered to pay a £50 fine, £250 in compensation, and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

STEFAN NIKOLOV, 33 and of Alexandra Road in Boscombe, admitted causing criminal damage after damaging a window at The Jolly Sailor in Poole on December 3, 2022. He was ordered to pay compensation of £390.94.

LUKE SIMKINS, 18 and of Daggons Road in Alderholt, admitted drink driving in Horton Heath on September 26, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £207, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £83, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

CHRISTOPHER CARR, 43 and of Tansy Meadow in Chandlers Ford, admitted speeding on the A338 Spur Road on July 9 and July 23, 2023. He got six points on his drivers’ licence. He was also fined £40, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £16, and ordered to pay £170 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
