THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

KASSANDRA TAYLOR, 30 and of no fixed address, admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following her release from prison. She was jailed for seven days.

MEHRAN SHADI, 37 and of Murley Road in Bournemouth, admitted driving without insurance in Poole on May 17, 2023. He was fined £118, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £47, and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

TIMOTHY TINTON, 44 and of no fixed address, admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from prison. He was fined £50.

KIAN MICHAEL JOHNSON, 21 and of Mossley Avenue in Poole, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on May 25, 2023. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay costs of £60.

CALLUM ANDREW DURRANT, 19 and of Fletchers Way in Wimborne, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on August 2, 2023. The community order was revoked and he was handed a 28 day prison sentence suspended for 12 months, and ordered to complete 50 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay costs of £60.

BALSON HOMES LTD, based in Ferndown, admitted failing to give information to Dorset Police on January 10, 2023, relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. The company was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £264 and ordered to pay costs of £125 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MICHAEL NIETO ALARCON, 25 and of Carysfort Road in Bournemouth, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Bournemouth on February 3. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £40.

GABRIEL REIS DA SILVA ARAUJO, 22 and of Wilton Avenue in Southampton, admitted to a number of offences in Poole on February 4. He drove a vehicle without a licence and insurance, assaulted a police officer by beating them, and obstructed/resisted a police officer in their execution of duty by attempting to escape arrest. He was handed a community order lasting until March 5, 2025, with a requirement to complete 50 hours of unpaid work, and got six points on his drivers’ licence. He was also ordered to pay £225 in compensation, £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £114.

CARL HOLLAND, 33 and of Botley Road in Southampton, admitted drug driving on the A31 at Ashley Heath on July 19, 2023. He also admitted using a vehicle on a road when the maximum permitted laden weight of 3500kg was exceeded by 250kg. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months. He was also fined £900, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £360, and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
