TWO trailers and farm equipment were stolen in the middle of the night.

Police are investigating the theft of farming equipment near Blandford and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Between 11.40pm on Saturday, February 24, and 5.30am on Sunday, February 25, two trailers and farming equipment were stolen from a farm in the Chettle area.

Police Constable Chandler Organ of the Rural Crime Team said: “I am appealing to anyone who has any information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen equipment to please get in touch.

“I would like to hear from anyone who saw the trailers being towed on the night of the incident travelling away from Chettle, possibly on the A354.
