A JUNIOR school in Poole has reopened its IT suite after a major water leak last year.
Following extensive water damage, Livingstone Road Junior School had to close its forest-themed suite.
Pupils were left without access to the suite, along with the library and art and design technology room.
Bennington Green, working in partnership with Hamwic Education Trust, A&D Property Services and Accolade, worked to a 12-month turnaround to reopen the IT suite without impacting or closing the school.
Robert Winkley, director at Bennington Green, said: “We are delighted to have been able to help reinstate this important and inspiring resource for the pupils so quickly, and to such a high standard.”
Hamwic Education Trust said: “The whole block was completely flooded and in partnership with our RPA insurers and all the contractors, disruption was kept to a minimum.
"The process has been very smooth and all credit to everyone involved.”
