IN THESE depressing times when the Echo pages are filled with reporters of the dire state of Bournemouth town centre, I’d just like to remind everyone of the huge jewel in our crown.
We are blessed with the world-renowned Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra whose Valentine concert on Saturday, February 10, was magical.
Featuring romantic pieces including music from Swan Lake, Ennio Morricone’s atmospheric Gabriel’s Oboe from The Mission and a heart stopping rendition of Nessun Dorma from the tenor Amar Muchhala.
What a treat!
