EARLY risers were greeted with a stunning sunrise as it swept across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
The sky was covered in hues of pink and orange as some residents rushed to capture the moment.
Members of the Dorset Camera Club have been sharing their pictures of the spectacular sight.
Sharon Wheeler said she ‘jumped out of her warm bed’ on Saturday morning to get a glimpse of the unexpected sunrise.
She added that although she did not make it in time to enjoy the sight from the beach, the views from her home in Bearcross were still spectacular.
Mike Evans however, got to Hengistbury Head just in time to capture the landscape on video.
Gary Owen managed to not only shoot the amazing sunrise but also the glimpse of early morning frost in Ringwood.
