Singing, dancing, wonderful story telling and an incredible cast – Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Bournemouth Pavilion leads the way this panto season!

There’s nothing like panto to kick-start the festive season and this year’s production in Bournemouth is a total treat!

Last weekend Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs opened at Bournemouth Pavilion, a UK Productions pantomime presented by Martin Dodd.

Leading the brilliant cast is the award-winning panto legend Su Pollard as Evil Queen (Queen Grimelda) with the hilarious Noel Brodie and as Muddles and Jamie Steen as Dame Dilly Donut – a tour de force for laugher, slapstick, double entendre (which went right over the heads of smaller audience members) and all-round comedy value!

The set is fabulous, the Dame’s costumes incredible, and the supporting cast of youngsters from the local theatre school took to the stage like professionals.

Telling the wickedly wonderful tale of poor Snow White (the brilliant Jenny Huxley-Golden) who when the Evil Queen’s mirror mirror on the wall doesn’t see her as the fairest of them all, she is taken to the forest by huntsmen and left for dead.

Saved by seven dwarfs, tragedy later strikes with a poisonous apple…can a curse be broken by true love’s kiss?

My children and I were absolutely lost in the world of panto laughing, getting soaked by a toy water pistol (always great for a 10yr old) and wowed by the ‘magic mirror’.

We thoroughly enjoyed the great energy that every panto should have and we couldn’t recommend it more!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs runs at Bournemouth Pavilion until 31st December 2023, tickets available from bournemouthpavilion.co.uk
