I NOTE that BCP Council has confirmed that there is no public consultation over the future of the iconic Bournemouth Air Festival. I simply ask why?

This council appears to consult on almost everything else – matters of far lesser importance.

I personally dislike this culture of consulting at every turn. However, precedent has been established. The future of the air show is far too important to be decided without there being a fully informed, wide consultation. I encourage BCP Council to consult fully, setting out all the facts, ideas and arguments for and against with local residents.

Many will not forgive this administration if their voices are not heard.

I might welcome their demise to the political wilderness.

However, if the Conservatives are then still not forgiven, I fear the alternative is perhaps too dreadful to even contemplate.
