Firefighters rushed to the scene of a blazing car on the side of the A35.

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service received multiple calls about the incident on the Upton Bypass just before 3pm on Saturday, June 24.

The front half of a car could be seen to be covered in flames off the A35 Upton bypass when coming into Poole.

One fire crew from Poole attended the incident and extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus.

A fire service spokesperson said no one was injured by the vehicle sustained significant damage.

Police officers also attended the incident to assist with scene safety.
