TICKETS for a popular music festival held on Sandbanks beach later this year are selling like “hotcakes”, organisers have said.

A host of acts are lined-up for SandFest this summer including British singer-songwriter Craig David who is the event’s biggest headliner to date.

This year’s one-day only event will take place on Sunday, July 9, between 12pm and 10pm.

On appearing at SandFest for the first time, Craig David, said: “I’m buzzing to be headlining SandFest this summer.

“We are bringing the iconic TS5 high energy vibes to the south coast and it’s going to be an amazing party on the golden sands of Sandbanks.”

Each year SandFest attracts up to 5,000 music fans and party goers who are entertained by a number of global artists.

Festival organiser Ty Temel said: “There has been a year-on-year shift in the pattern of ticket sales since 2017, when we held our first event.

“Even pre-pandemic, the VIP SandFest tables and tickets were growing in demand and selling way before the festival.

“I’m delighted that this year has been no exception and in fact we’ve seen higher and quicker demand for VIP this year than in any previous year, with all tables gone and 90 per cent of VIP tickets sold out."

Ty added: “It was anticipated though, we have an explosive line-up and Sunday 9th of July is going to be iconic on Sandbanks Beach, especially with the debut from Craig David.”
