A MAN has suffered life-changing injuries after a serious crash involving a car and a van.

Dorset Police received a report at around 4.35pm on Wednesday, April 19, of a collision involving a silver Ford S-Max and a white Ford Transit van in Fair Mile Road in Bryanston near Blandford.

The driver of the van – a man in his 30s – was rushed by air ambulance to hospital.

The three occupants of the Ford car were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Road closures were in place so emergency services could safely deal with the incident and they were lifted at around 8.30pm.

Officers investigating the crash are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

Police Sergeant Gareth Thomas, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “An investigation is underway and I would ask anyone who witnessed the collision, or manner of driving of either vehicle in the moments leading up to it, to please get in touch.

“Also, I would ask motorists who were travelling in the area with a dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please check for any footage to help my enquiries.”
