A VEHICLE fire is being tackled by emergency responders outside a Poole junior school.
Firefighters are working to extinguish a white van which is engulfed in flames outside Canford Heath Junior School.
A spokesperson from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the blaze in Learoyd Road at 4.56pm on Tuesday, March 7.
They said: “A crew from Poole are currently in attendance – a breathing apparatus wearer is using a hose reel jet to extinguish a van which is fully involved in fire.”
Images taken from the scene by a resident show the van directly outside the main school building.
Dorset Police said it has not been called to attend the scene.
