THE countdown is on to the return of Bournemouth’s Christmas Market.
Thousands flock to the market each year to stock up on gifts, festive food and drink and to soak up the atmosphere.
Here’s your guide on everything you need to know about this year’s Christmas market.
When does it open?
The market is open between Friday, November 18 and Monday, January 2.
What time can I visit?
The market will be open every day between 11am and 11pm.

Where is it?
As always, the market will be located in Bournemouth Square.
What can I find there?
The market features more than 35 ‘chalet huts’ offering everything from luxury hot chocolates to handmade ‘Christmas favourites’.
Is the Alpine Lodge bar back?
Yes, the popular Alpine Lodge bar will be returning. The two-storey bar features indoor, outdoor and balcony seating. There’s also weekly events including Monday quiz night, Wednesday Christmas karaoke evenings and Thursday happy hours.
What food will be on offer?

Bratwursts - German sausages from a master butcher, gluten free and cooked over a charcoal barbecue, served with freshly baked white or wholemeal bread rolls
