A VICTORIAN patent self-adjusting corkscrew by Edwin Cotterill recently sold through auction for £6,210 including premium.
This was found by Neil Davey of Poole- based Davey & Davey Auctioneers.
Neil, who is chairman of the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers, discovered the corkscrew in a kitchen drawer of a local property while he was carrying out a probate valuation.
