A BUS stop in Bournemouth has has a face lift as part of the Transforming Cities fund programme.
The improvements to the bus stop at Rempstone Road in Oakley included new raised bus stop kerbs and resurfaced footways.
This comes as part of the travel improvements underway at Queen Anne Drive.
Construction of the first phase of sustainable travel improvements between Gravel Hill and Bear Cross Roundabout along Queen Anne Drive began last month.

The work, due for completion in December, includes widening the existing shared use path between Montacute Way and Merley Lane on the north side of Queen Anne Drive.
It will also include junction improvements where Queen Anne Drive meets Rempstone Road, Montacute Way, Lynwood Drive and Merley Lane to enable safer, prioritised crossing points for people walking and cycling.
Most of the work will be carried out away from the carriageway and will not cause disruption to local traffic.
The work, paid for through BCP and Dorset councils’ Transforming Cities Fund (TCF) grant, forms part of a new 13km green travel route that will link north Poole with Christchurch. It includes major bus, cycling and walking improvements all aimed at enabling people to make greener, healthier journeys where possible.
