Christmas has come early at Stourfield Infant School, Southbourne, as local businessman Stuart Mason, director of Richard Godsell Estate Agents in Southbourne generously donated £750 to buy new iPads for the children. Stuart Godsell delivered a box of iPads (pictured), bought from the money his company donated to the school’s Parents’ Association. The children said thank you to Stuart Mason with a framed Christmas picture.

Miss Hill, headteacher at Stourfield Infant School said: “The iPads are key to helping our Year 1 children practise phonics and maths in a fun and interactive way. We are truly grateful to Stuart and his team at Richard Godsell for continuing to support the school. Fundraising for the school has been hit hard this year as key events such as the Summer and Christmas Fairs haven’t been able to take place. Generous donations such as these genuinely make a huge difference to the education of our children.”

Over the past four years Richard Godsell Estate Agents has been a loyal supporter of the school, not only in sponsoring the school’s Christmas and Summer Fairs; it has also provided £250 cash prizes for each Fair’s Grand Draw – an essential fundraiser for the school that further brings in thousands of pounds.

Stuart Mason, director at Richard Godsell says: “The Southbourne community is a close-knit one and we have all looked out for each other more than ever this year. It is an honour to be able to help local children have fun in their education and help them progress.”
