POLICE were called to Highcliffe on Monday morning after reports of a break-in at the golf club.
Officers were called after the intruder alarm activated at Highcliffe Castle Golf Club in Lymington Road around 5am.
The police helicopter was also called.
Police found a window had been smashed and an untidy search had taken place.
No-one was found in the premises and nothing has been reported as stolen.
During this incident, a resident of Rowan Drive called police around 5.35am reporting a suspicious man running through a garden.
Enquiries are ongoing.
