A FISHERMAN was airlifted to hospital after he fell at a disused quarry.
Three Coastguard Rescue Teams were alerted to the incident on Friday afternoon. They assisted paramedics with a man who had fallen and injured himself at Winspit in Purbeck.
The man had a suspected head injury.
He was flown to Dorset County Hospital for treatment in the coastguard rescue helicopter.
