ARMED police were called after a man was stabbed in the back, head and hand last night.
Officers were called to Wimborne Road in Kinson around 7.07pm following a call from the ambulance service.
A 24-year-old Bournemouth man had been assaulted by another man, believed to be known to him, said a spokesperson for Dorset Police.
He was treated for stab wounds to his hand, head and back.
No arrests have been made.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have seen a gun metal grey Mercedes with black alloy wheels heading eastbound towards Kinson. It is believed to have a 59 registration plate.
