SHAME on you Councillor Philip Eades.
A lot of the so-called ageing population of Christchurch were probably born there so would have put more than their share into the local economy.
I also suspect many retiring people to the area would have more than enough funds to see them to the end of their life.
How magnanimous of Councillor Eades “my grandmother (96) contributes to that”. What exactly does he want to do with us so-called ageing population?
On a final note it’s a disgrace that it is a handful of people allowed to make this serious merger decision.
