THE police helicopter was called out in the early hours of this morning after a man threatened to commit arson in Poole.
Armed officers also attended the incident, which happened at an address on the Upton Heath Estate at 3.20am.
However, the suspect made off before police arrived. An "extensive search" was then carried out with the help of the dog unit. The man has not yet been found.
No one was injured and a fire was not started.
