A third heath fire has broken out at Ham Common on Thursday as firefighters continued to battle a major blaze at Ferndown.
It comes just a few hours after a heath fire near to Haymoor Junior School in Poole.
Fire crews say four engines attended the blaze at Ham Common, which started at 8pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said the appliances were still at the scene at 9.30pm.
Smoke could be seen from Purbeck and billowing over Lake Pier.

"Firefighters have been using beaters and light portable pumps to extinguish this fire but remain in attendance dampening down hot spots (at 11.30pm)."
