THE Ramblers East Dorset Group will be holding their Purbeck Plod event on Sunday. (June 24)
Starting at Swanage Pier, continuing westwards along the South West Coast Path, the event includes the main 25-mile route, open to walkers and runners, and shorter routes of 16 and 12 miles for walkers only.
An event spokesman explained: "Cold drinks and snacks are available at most check points and food will be provided at the finish along with a timed certificate."
Registration is from 7.30am, with the 25 and 16 mile events for walkers starting at 8.30am. The runners will head off at 9.30am.
The 12 mile walkers start just afterwards, at 9.35am.
