KNITTERS are being sought to help make clothes for two markets in East Dorset that raise money for Julia’s House.
The markets take place at the Barrington Centre in Ferndown on the first Saturday of each month and at Verwood Memorial Hall on the second Saturday of each month.
Sylvia Gray and her husband have organised the markets for the past four years and have raised thousands of pounds for Julia’s House children’s hospice. The markets will come to an end in December.
Sylvia said the markets are in desperate need of knitted children’s clothes and toys to help keep up with demand.
The markets take place between 10am and 12.30pm and people who have items to donate are invited to take them along on the day.
Sylvia said: “We want to give it a good send off between now and Christmas.”
Items for the tombola, particularly food items and toiletries, are also needed, as well as people to serve tea at the events.
Anyone who can help can contact Sylvia on 01725 517427.
