FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze on Talbot Heath.
Eight fire engines were called to the scene on Monday evening.

The fire was reported shortly after 6.15pm off Winston Avenue.
Plumes of smoke were seen from around the Poole area.

Firefighters are using hose reel jets to extinguish the fire, which is understood to be now under control.

Talbot Heath is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and part of the Bourne Valley nature reserve. The heathland is home to a lot of specialised wildlife.
Crews were called from Westbourne, Redhill, Poole, Springbourne, Christchurch, Maiden Newton, Wimborne and Ferndown, with two land rover pumps and an incident command vehicle also on scene.
A spokesperson for the service said: "It was extinguished using five main jets and six hose reel jets."
