A bench in Bournemouth's Lower Gardens
CONCERN has been raised over work on new benches in Bournemouth's Lower Gardens.
Several readers have contacted the Echo to comment on the surface of the path beneath the benches, with one calling it "shoddy workmanship".
However the borough says the surface is only temporary.
A spokesman said: "The parks team are in the process of relocating and installing new benches in the Gardens.
"Once the construction work is done they’re going to add the final surfacing, so they don’t have to dig it up again.
"The pictures show a temporary covering, before they return to complete surfacing."
