POOLE'S St James' Church will be decorated with 1,000 handmade poppies to mark 100 years since the end of World War One.
Church administrator Sharon Keen said: "If you would like to join in by making poppies from felt, crochet or knitting we would love to hear from you via St James’ Church office.
"The church will also have picture frames around with a poppy naming those who are commemorated on our war memorial."
If anyone has information on family members from the parish who were lost during The Great War, the church would like to hear from you.
St James is also hoping to hold a Festival of Rembrance Concert on September 10.
The remembrance service will be at 10am on Sunday, November 11, and will finish with the two minutes silence followed by a muffled quarter peal of the church bells.
