FOUR men arrested after a double stabbing in Poole have been released without charge.
Two men suffered stab wounds to their backs in the incident, which took place in the early hours of Monday October 9 last year.
A 34-year-old homeless man suffered injuries which were so serious that they were initially thought to be life-threatening.
A 45-year-old man from Poole also suffered serious injuries in the incident at 2.20am in Sterte Close. Both have since left hospital.
Two London men, aged 20 and 22, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and released under investigation.
A 31-year-old Poole man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and released under investigation. A 43-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and was also released under investigation.
Following a detailed investigation by detectives, all four men have now been released without charge.
