THE renewed inquest into the death of a Bournemouth man who died in South Africa was adjourned yesterday.
Simon Davidson, aged 41, died in Johannesburg in 2014.
The four year anniversary of his death is today.
Yesterday at Bournemouth Coroner's Court the hearing heard how part of a toxicology report, carried out in South Africa, had still not been sent to the UK, despite numerous attempts by coroner's officers working through the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Dorset Coroner Rachael Griffin told the family she was prepared to press ahead with the full inquest, despite the missing toxicology details, but she could also postpone for six weeks.
Mr Davidson's family agreed to the adjournment of the full inquest until July 3, in the hope the missing toxicology details have been received by UK authorities by then.
