A MAN is due to appear before magistrates this morning after an alleged stabbing at a Bournemouth hotel.
The 19-year-old, of Hounslow, has been charged with grievous bodily harm and assault by beating following an incident at the Hallmark Hotel Bournemouth Carlton on the East Cliff on Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to the hotel at around 1.15pm after a woman suffered injuries to her abdomen.
She was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital. Detectives say her condition is serious but not life-threatening.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after the incident. No one has been charged with the offence.
