7. The Gin Festival returns to Bournemouth on Friday and Saturday but this time it's taking place at the BIC instead of the Pavilion.

8. The Volatile Agents, widely regarded as "the best medical rockpunkrockrapsoul band to have ever rehearsed in Dave’s garage", will perform their last charity gig at Mr Kyps in Ashley Cross on Saturday as the venue closes in June. The gig is in aid of the MS Trust and Braintrust.
