A traveller camp at the Creekmoor park and ride site
POOLE council has obtained a court order to evict travellers at the Creekmoor park and ride site.
Eight caravans and associated vehicles have set up an unauthorised encampment on the council-owned land.
A Borough of Poole spokesperson said yesterday morning: “We now have the court order and will be serving it shortly.”
Portable toilets have been provided as part of the council’s policy to “minimise environmental contamination.”
Meanwhile, the council has informed the owners of land adjacent to Serpentine Road, near to the Barclays building in the town centre, about an encampment of four caravans.
