HOW low can people get, breaking into the Waggy Tails charity shop in Charminster Road, Bournemouth.
The items in charity shops are not exactly over priced, so why not just pay for them normally?
With regard to stealing from shops generally, I think the time has now come for drastic measures to be taken against persistent shoplifters.
Talking recently to a security guard at one of the supermarkets at Castlepoint, he said that over a month he had been to court at least a dozen times to deal with cases of shoplifting and in each case the person was let off with a ridiculous fine.
He said to me in one case someone had tried to wheel a brand new television out through the main doors.
