POLICE arrested a driver who had allegedly been speeding at 110 miles per hour on Monday.
Members of the public called police with reports that a car was travelling along the 50mph stretch of the Wessex Way in Bournemouth at more than double the limit.
A short while later, the force received further reports of a vehicle which was "all over the road" in the Winton and Charminster areas.
A man has been charged with driving offences and is due to appear in courts in the coming weeks.
