The Bournemouth Bus Rally will return to Kings Park this summer.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event which took place to commemorate 115 years of Bournemouth transport, organisers hope this year’s event will be even bigger and better.

Last year’s event saw more than 30 vintage vehicles on display with a number of historical Yellow Buses driving routes across the Bournemouth conurbation.

A spokesperson said: “We will start services earlier this year and have more choice with some shorter routes & some intermediate length routes thrown in too and a slightly different traffic management set up to help ease flow of traffic through the area.

“We listened to all the feedback, we're investigating toilets on site as an additional option, a refreshments vehicle selling drinks and ice creams with all hot food remaining in the Cafe across the park with their valuable support for the event.”

The rally will take place between 9.30am and 5pm on July 7.
