A teenage boy was rescued by firefighters from the roof of the former Odeon cinemas in Bournemouth.
Fire crews and police were called to the site in Westover Road around 2.39pm on Thursday.
A spokesperson for Dorset Fire said: "Crews from the Bournemouth area rescued a 14-year-old male who had become trapped on a third storey roof in the centre of Bournemouth.
"We used a 13.5m ladder and walked the male to safety.
"The incident was then handed over to Dorset Police."
A police spokesperson said they were called to assist the fire service.
