A NEW arts festival is coming to Poole this spring.
The event takes place on Saturday, April 14, at Branksome Recreational Ground and Centre.
The festival has been organised by Red Lion Marketing and Rainbow Arts Dorset. It is aimed at young people and families and will include live performances, arts and crafts, mascot appearances, face painting, a mini funfair, food and refreshments.
There will also be up to 40 stalls at the free entry event.
Rob Batson, event organiser of Spring Arts Fest 2018 and founder of Red Lion Marketing, said: "The Spring Arts team and I are excited to bring Spring Arts Fest 2018 to Branksome Recreational Ground and look forward to welcoming local families and young people to it. We are proud to able to support YMCA Bournemouth, Branksome Centre and Amelia’s Rainbow at this year’s event."
He added: "We are also proud to announce that this year’s travel partner for the festival is Morebus, who provide many different bus routes around the festival’s site. At this year’s festival, we are hoping for a good footfall and hope to have a sunny day for the event."
