GET ready to glow - disability charity Diverse Abilities is hosting its second Neon Run in Poole Park.

Following the success of last year's night-time event, which collected £25,000, the charity is running another fundraiser on Saturday, April 21.

By signing up to this year’s event, participants will have the change to glow as they run, dance or walk around the 5k route.

All those taking part will be provided with a Dorset Neon Run t-shirt, glow sticks, bracelets and neon paint to help light up the night, and can enjoy a warm up from a clubbercise instructor before setting off.

Lauren McCullough, the charity's events manager, said: “Last year was so much fun and everyone had a fantastic time. We hope many more local people take part in our neon run this year which will help us light up the lives of children and adults living with disabilities in Dorset.”

A Dorset Neon Run will also take place in Weymouth on Saturday, September 8.

The event is open to anyone over the age of 12 and is £20 to enter before February 26. Registration is from 7pm, with the warm up at 9pm and the race starting at 9.30pm To find out more or sign up visit dorsetneonrun.com
