MOTORISTS were caught in delays on the A31 after a hit and run crash.
The incident involved a silver Ford Fiesta car and a van.
The car ended up on the roundabout, by the Little Chef at St Leonards.
Police launched a search for the van but were unable to locate it.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said they were called at 6.51am.
Ambulance and the fire service were also called to the scene with the person in the car suffering only minor injuries.
The incident was clear by 9.15am.
