A MAN arrested after reports that someone was swinging a sword around and acting in a threatening manner in Swanage has been released without charge.
Police were called to Cow Lane at 11.30am on Saturday September 23. There were no reports of injuries and no weapons were found following a search of the area.
A 44-year-old Swanage man who was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and using threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence has been released without charge.
