Speed restrictions and lane closure on Upton Bypass next week
THERE will be speed restrictions and a lane closure on the Upton Bypass next week.
The A35 will be closed east of the A350 slip road to enable Southern Electric workers to access their equipment on Upton Heath.
As a result, there will be temporary 50mph and 30mph speed limits in place on the eastbound carriageway of the bypass and on the slip road from the A350 roundabout for a distance of approximately 900 metres.
The closure and speed restrictions will come into force on Monday, October 9, and are expected to remain in place until Wednesday, October 18.
