POLICE were called to Tesco in Branksome yesterday morning after reports a man had poured petrol over himself.
Offices attended the store on Poole Road around 7.36am on Wednesday and secured the area.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "A 36-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested and has been charged with harassment without violence and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday 11 September 2017."
South Western Ambulance Service was also called at 7.44am and treated one casualty at the scene with minor injuries.
