A MAN seriously injured in a crash in Christchurch continues to fight for life.
The man, who is in his 50s, was on foot when he was involved in a collision with a silver BMW 5 Series in Barrack Road at 3.10pm on Thursday, August 17.
He was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police yesterday said the man remains in a critical, life-threatening condition.
The driver of the BMW was not injured in the collision, which happened outside the police station.
Barrack Road was closed both ways between the Stour Road traffic light and the Fountain roundabout for more than four hours while specially-trained investigators examined the scene.
Police have called for witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.
